Features that save you money

Offset account

Money in the linked account reduces the interest charged on your loan.

Redraw

Access extra repayments you've made. Check fees and limits.

Extra repayments

Paying even a little more each month shortens the loan.

Portability

Keep the loan when you move to a new property.

Buying your next home

Upgrading means juggling a sale and a purchase. We can help with bridging finance (buy before you sell), equity release to fund a deposit, and timing settlements so you're not paying two loans for long.

What you'll need

  • Photo ID
  • Last 2–3 payslips (or 2 years’ tax returns if self-employed)
  • 3 months of bank and savings statements
  • Statements for any loans and credit cards
  • Contract of sale once you've found a home

Home loan questions

How much can I borrow?

It depends on your income, living costs, debts and the interest rate plus a 3% serviceability buffer that lenders must test. Try our borrowing power calculator, then talk to us for a lender-by-lender answer. Try the calculator →

Is the lowest rate always the best loan?

No. Fees, features and break costs can make a slightly higher rate cheaper overall. That's why advertised rates must show a comparison rate.

Can you help if my bank said no?

Often, yes. Lenders have different policies on income, credit history and property type, so a decline from one doesn't mean a decline from all.
