Rideshare, taxi & truck finance

Rideshare and taxi drivers

Lenders look at your driving income history (platform statements or bank deposits), ABN age and the vehicle's age.

Trucks and light commercials

Finance for new and used trucks, trailers and fleet additions, usually as a chattel mortgage.

New ABNs

Some lenders accept newer ABNs with a larger deposit or stronger credit history.

Understanding balloon payments

A balloon (residual) is a lump sum due at the end of the loan. It lowers your regular repayments but you still owe it, either by paying it, refinancing it, or selling or trading the vehicle. We'll show you repayments with and without a balloon so you can compare.

Vehicle finance questions

Can I get pre-approved before I find the car?

Yes, with most lenders. It helps you negotiate with dealers.

Is dealer finance cheaper?

Sometimes there are manufacturer offers, but dealer finance can include higher rates or fees. Compare the total cost.
